Bridging mantraUSD to NVNM Chain

Tokens are obtained by wrapping mantraUSD (mantraUSD → wmantraUSD) on the parent MANTRA Chain (mantra-dukong-1 for testnet, mantra-1 for mainnet) and IBC-transferring to your NVNM Chain address (nvnm-testnet-1 or nvnm-1).

Prerequisites

• mantrachaind binary installed
• nvnmchaind binary installed
• cast (Foundry) installed
• A mantraUSD balance available on MANTRA Chain
  • If you have USDC/USDT on other chains, the mantraUSD Express Bridge is the fastest way to acquire mantraUSD

Wallet setup

Import your wallet as an account in Foundry and into the mantrachaind and nvnmchaind binaries:

MetaMask / EVM wallet setup

To add NVNM Chain to MetaMask or any EVM wallet, use the network configuration below.

Keplr natively supports both NVNM Chain Cosmos (cointype 118) and NVNM Chain EVM (cointype 60, 0x address).

Step 1 — Set environment variables

Choose the tab matching the network you are bridging to. The commands in later steps use these variables and are identical across networks.

Step 2 — Approve and wrap mantraUSD on MANTRA Chain

Step 3 — Convert ERC20 to IBC denom on MANTRA Chain

Convert the wrapped ERC20 balance into the Cosmos-side IBC denom so it can be transferred over IBC.
